Creamy Lemon Garlic Pasta

Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Allow the cream to thicken slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add the cooked linguine pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the creamy sauce.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the pasta to absorb the flavors of the sauce.
  7. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
