Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes to make the glaze.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  5. Flip the salmon fillets and pour the honey garlic glaze over them.
  6. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, basting the salmon with the glaze from the pan.
  7. Remove the salmon from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
